金融商品（株式、FXなど）のスプレッドとは、Ask価格とBid価格の間の価格差を指します。スプレッドは、取引コストの一種であり、手数料がある場合にはそれも一緒に含まれます。スプレッドでは、各取引は、アスク価格で買い、ビッド価格で売るため、損失からスタートします。
EUR/USD スプレッドの例を見てみましょう:
