Raspon financijskog instrumenta (dionice, forex, itd.) odnosi se na razliku u cijeni između tražene cijene i ponuđene cijene. Spread je vrsta transakcijskih troškova, zajedno s provizijama, naravno, ako ih ima. Zbog spreada, svaka trgovina započet će s gubitkom, jer kupujete po traženoj cijeni i prodajete po ponuđenoj cijeni.
