Que sont les Pips
En Forex, un pip signifie le plus petit changement de prix qu’une paire de devises peut connaître à l’exception des fractions d’un pip, ou « pipettes ».
Pour la plupart des paires de devises, 1 Pip est 0,0001 ; pour les paires de devises avec le yen japonais telles que la paire USD/JPY, 1 Pip est 0,01. Lors des échanges sur les métaux, 1 pip pour l’or et l’argent est 0,01.
Lorsque la paire EUR/USD passe de 1,0925 à 1,0926, le changement est de 1 Pip. Avec une tarification à 5 chiffres, si la paire EUR/USD monte de 1,09255 à 1,09260, le changement sera d’un demi Pip.
